Connie Neese and Doris Brown joined Hollie Hanalon  of Perry on Thursday to listen to the Al Walsh Orchestra perform at Spring Valley.  Marlene Radebaugh of Rippey is a long time member of the orchestra.

Visitors in church on Sunday, Sept. 14, were Pastor and Mrs. Bruce and Tanya Smith and their children Caitlin, Danielle, Isaac, Noah, and 3-week old Micah.  Pastor Bruce was on vacation from his parish at Macedonia, Henderson, and Wheeler Grove and the family decided to attend church where their friend, Pastor Enna Antunez, was preaching.

The First United Coven of Greene County presented a program, Poetry Out Loud, at the Greene County Historical Museum on Sunday. Nancy Hanaman read her poems as part of this event, a tribute to Velda DeMoss, “Mouse in the House,” and “Corn Cathedral.”
